We’re hiring a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Engineer at our Noida facility, and we’re looking for someone with 3 to 4 years of experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an SMT Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating SMT machinery including Pick-and-Place machines, Reflow Ovens, and AOI systems.
- Optimizing process parameters to improve yields, reduce defects, and increase throughput.
- Driving root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for process and equipment-related issues.
- Collaborating on NPI (New Product Introduction) initiatives and supporting first article builds.
- Maintaining preventive maintenance schedules and ensuring uptime of SMT equipment.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to align on production targets and quality expectations.

Must-Haves:
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SMT processes within the EMS industry.
- Strong understanding of SMT equipment (Yamaha, Fuji, Juki, Panasonic, or similar).
- Knowledge of IPC standards and ESD compliance.
- Analytical thinking and solid troubleshooting skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with SPI, AOI, and X-ray inspection systems.
- Exposure to MES or ERP systems.
- Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot SMT machines (e.g., Pick and Place, Reflow Ovens, Screen Printers, AOI).
- Monitor and improve SMT process parameters for yield enhancement and defect reduction.
- Conduct root cause analysis for SMT-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities, including stencil design review, DFM checks, and first article inspection.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and calibration of SMT equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Production, and R&D to ensure smooth operations.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or B.Tech in Electronics or related field.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in SMT processes within the EMS industry.
- Proficiency with SMT equipment (Fuji, Yamaha, Juki, Panasonic or similar).
- Strong knowledge of IPC standards and ESD practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SPI, AOI, and X-ray inspection systems.
- Familiarity with MES/ERP systems.
